Philippines a slipper factory fire, 31 dead, 65 missing
Manila near a plastic slipper factory Wednesday (13th) fires, authorities confirmed that a minimum of 31 people were killed and dozens of people missing; scene was heard as many as 300 people were trapped. Fire place is a manufacturer of plastic flip flop shoe factory, located near Manila Valenzuela City (Valenzuela), when the fire broke out, a group of factories emitting smoke into the sky.
Preliminary investigation found that the fire might be triggered shoe welding work, welding tools before noon plant explosion, lighted other chemicals, so the fire got out of hand, many workers fled fled to the second floor trapped. A large number of fire arrived at the scene to fight the blaze. Local media reported that the fires burning nearly five hours beginning put out. Families of the 65 people reported missing, dead or alive.
